Grandma’s notebooks – Le Castagne

Garessine chestnuts can be used in the kitchen in various ways. Thanks to the precious help of primary school children and cooks from the Monregalese area, the Academy of Castagna Bianca in Mondovì has collected old recipes intimately linked to the territory in the booklet “Grandma’s notebooks”. “Grandma’s notebooks – Le Castagne”, containing 39 recipes based on chestnuts, is available on our online store and all the proceeds are destined to the Academy of Castagna Bianca in Mondovì so that it can continue its business and can finance other research.
