RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE: Rinse the chestnuts and place them in a pot with a high edge, cover them with cold water adding a pinch of salt and a few bay leaves.
Cover with a lid, bring the water to a boil and cook over moderate heat for about 40 minutes, until the water is completely absorbed by the chestnuts.
Once cooked, drain any excess water and return to the heat for a few minutes to allow the fruits to dry and allow the formation of an amber glaze on the bottom that must be consumed with the chestnuts themselves.
